President Biden’s $1.856 trillion American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) was signed into law on March 11. And in late June, a bipartisan group of ten senators announced a deal with the Biden Whitehouse on a new federal infrastructure plan, which will be written this summer.
Much has been reported about the $350 billion to local governments, and the need to repair America’s deteriorating roads and bridges. This presentation will peel the onion and highlight those enacted (ARPA) or proposed (infrastructure) provisions that offer business opportunities to the manufacturing segment of the economy. Bricker & Eckler LLP will provide an overview presentation and take questions from the audience.
2 – 3 takeaways for attendees:
What opportunities exist for manufacturers in the four allowable buckets of state and local governments’ ARPA stimulus payments?
What are some of the granular details in the President’s American Jobs Plan (i.e., infrastructure) that bode well for employers who “make things?”
What are some general observations about the impact of ARPA stimulus cash around Ohio?
