ABOUT THE EVENT
Back by popular demand, DRMA is hosting economist Brian Beaulieu, CEO of ITR Economics, to speak on Friday, September 11.
At the 2019 meeting we looked at the leading indicators and they were mostly negative. Fast forward to today and those leading indicators are shifting direction. It is time to see what the latest and greatest is telling us for manufacturing in our region.
Presidential politics are fascinating, and we will explore the likely impact, if any, on the near-term economy and what potential election outcomes may mean to our forecast and to your world. Our job will be to determine the best course of action for the most important part of the economy – you and your business.
We will present an updated and extended outlook in key areas:
The financial markets, including interest rates, so you can leverage growth opportunities and your wealth
The impact of ongoing tariffs
Present our list of markets that present the best opportunities for the next business cycle decline to help you beat the cycle
Consider your 3, 5, and 7-year planning needs and talk about the 2020s and how you should prepare for challenges and opportunities.
