ABOUT THE EVENT​​
The price is $225 per person and includes two rounds of shooting, ammunition, snacks and refreshments, and admission to the DRMA Happy Hour following shooting.
Registration

You do not have to have any experience to participate!
-
Teams will consist of five shooters; however, you can register anywhere from 1 to 5 individuals, and we will make pairings accordingly.

Registration forms must be returned with payment.

Participants must list experience level to participate in team and individual contests.

Each shooter will be required to sign a Participant Liability Release at the registration table at the event.
New this year! Optional Practice Shooting 1 – 2 p.m. Whether it’s your first time shooting or you feel like a seasoned pro, join us at the event early for a warmup round! For $20, experienced shooters can participate in a practice round contest and first-timers will receive a quick lesson on shooting 101 to get ready for the event! All participants will receive 10 shells (2 shots at each station) and all scores will count toward the contest – a little fun before the fun! You can enter as many times as you like; each score from your 10-shot round will be entered to win.

Details

Shooting: There will be up to 102 shooters split into groups of 5 over 7 trap ranges. Each group will rotate, shooting two rounds (25 shots each round) from the 16-yard line.

Guns and ammunition: 12-gauge ammunition is included in your registration cost. In addition, some loaner 12-gauge shotguns will be available at no extra cost. If you plan to bring your own shotgun that is not a 12-gauge, then you must also bring at least 50 target shells with a shot size no larger than 7.5 (acceptable sizes: 7.5, 8, 8.5, and 9, noting that the higher the number, the smaller the size of the actual pellets).

Safety gear: Eye and ear protection must be worn by all shooters; bring your own or we’ll have some on hand (provided by Dayton Supply & Tool Company).

Attire: Comfortable, outdoor attire.

Prizes: The following cash prizes will be awarded at the Happy Hour:

Second highest scoring team $125 ($25 each)

Individual prizes – highest scoring person in each of three experience categories ($50 each)

Inclement weather: The event will be held, rain or shine.

Cancellations: Cancellations with refunds will be accepted through October 5.
-
Name changes: Name changes must be submitted by October 13.
Happy Hour
Join us for drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the DRMA Happy Hour after the shooting. Cocktails (cash/credit card bar) will begin at 4:00. If weather forces the cancellation of shooting, the Happy Hour event will be held. To register for Happy Hour only, click here.
