The GRC recently held their Meet Up with State Representative Andrea White (District 41). The discussion focused on healthcare and Representative White's "Cradle to Career" workforce initiative.

The next Meet Up is schedule for April 12, 4-5 p.m. with Mike King, the Regional Representative for Senator Sherrod Brown. Registration is free for members - sign up here.

Our annual Meet and Greet with Congressman Warren Davidson is coming up in August! Watch the DRMA website for updates.

DRMA continues to collaborate with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) on workforce development programs.

DRMA stays connected with OMA as they continue to look at addressing the manufacturers concerns of workforce development. Sara Tracey, managing director for the OMA's workforce services, discusses how the OMA and its partners are creating programs and initiatives to "develop a pipeline of students, job seekers, and trainees who are ready to come to work with the skills manufacturers are looking for" in this six-minute interview, which aired on the Spectrum News "In Focus" public affairs program. Tracey also noted that TechCred has been a "game changer" in the effort to enhance Ohio's skilled labor pool.
